Gym and Personal Muscle-Up Record


The gymnastic ring Muscle-Up is a deceptively difficult move that few outside of strict gymnastics training circles can accomplish. Gravity Janes has several athletes that can perform 1 or more, but none more than Chris Sakas. The camera was handy for his latest attempt, and it turned out to be a personal best 9 reps.

The most significant thing about this effort was not the rep count (however impressive), it is that Chris is hardly the typical gymnastics material: he's 6'2" and weighs 230#.

Wow. You both ROCK... But... If you watch the videos side by side... Ju is sooo smoooooothe... looks like he got 9.5 vs. 9.0... But of course I'm not at all biased... :-)
