The Summer of the Deadlift

There will be a lot of the usual broad-based work going on at GJs this summer, but one thing you won't be able to avoid is the emphasis we'll be putting on your Deadlift. We all know that a solid Deadlift - in form and load - will benefit nearly every other aspect of your fitness picture. And that you can move yourself off of any plateau you may have encountered by going back and improving your Deadlift. There will be Deadlift sessions of one kind or another at least twice per week all summer, and if you want gym time to work on your own just let us know and we'll make it happen. We'll be getting a baseline load from everyone this week.

By the end of the summer we'd like everyone to know enough about the Deadlift to teach it to others. Let's get busy.
