CrossFit Games 2012
Most of you are aware of the yearly CrossFit competition that is held in southern California each July. Individual preparation for that competition gets underway in earnest right about now. Sectional and regional qualifications are held from February through May, so it is about now that athletes are taking a serious look at their performance with an eye to eliminating any identifiable weaknesses.
We would like everyone to think more like a cross-discipline athlete and be willing to acknowledge and address their functional weaknesses. One way to think differently about your current state is to make a decision to compete in the first round of qualifications for the Games. This round is conducted at Gravity Janes, and standings are all compiled on line. We'll provide all of the coaching you need or want to be at your best, but the performance is all about you.
We believe that most people will be surprised at what they're capable of in the heat of this competition. And that usually translates into more awareness and, ultimately, more fitness. Please see any GJ coach if you're ready to take this challenge and we'll give you more details.
